Cycle to St. Augustine is an event that raises money and awareness for people with disabilities. This is a regional ride sponsored by PUSH America. This is a non profit organization that raises hundreds of thousands annually on behalf of people with disabilities. Locally we work with such agencies as The Grove House and CCAR who actively assist people in need. It is our focus to involve the local community. The most rewarding part of the trip is upon arrival in St. Augustine. Cyclists will have an opportunity to interact with some of the members of The Grove House. The brothers of Pi Kappa Phi have organized a Snack Team which will provide a fun experience that actively involves people with disabilities. Sponsors will benefit due to the fact that Pi Kappa Phi is a nonprofit organization. This enables all donations to be tax deductible. The ride is scheduled to begin March 31st at 9:30 a.m. The participants are asked to join us at the South Beach Pkwy shopping center (Target) at J. Turner Butler Blvd. and State Road A1A. The ride will go to Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine and back. It is approximately 55 miles. Checkpoints will be set-up along the route where participants will be able to stop for water or a break.
